Om Mellisa
My name is Mellisa Tanaka Mundida, I am from Zimbabwe. For my undergraduate studies, studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Thereafter, I moved to Europe to pursue my master's in Resource Engineering as an Erasmus Mundus student. I enjoy tutoring because I've enjoyed mathematics since my early years in junior school and over the years, I have understood the different working styles student need for excelling in Mathematics and Chemistry. I therefore believe I can offer the extra help needed in these subjects having studied them from junior school up to undergraduate.

In 2020, I started private tutoring for Cambridge high school candidates and from that I have created a working system my previous students were satisfied with. I tutor by offering notes on the topic, discussing the aspects of that topic, giving worked examples, then asking the student to attempt some questions on the topic. Initially starting with textbook questions then moving to accredited examination board questions such as Cambridge past exam questions for revision. I also use the particular subject syllabus as a guide in planning my lessons and revision sessions. Each lesson is 1 hour long. They are for high school students ranging from the ages of 15 upwards. All my lessons are offered online.
