Om Michael
I am currently a scholar based at Lund University. My background is in the humanities and social sciences, with a PhD in Political Science. I undertook my graduate research in Toronto, Canada, and thereafter worked for 4 years at the University of Oxford.
I'm rather busy at the university but offer this type of tutoring both because I enjoy teaching and because I believe it is important to give back to society as a scholar and teacher (including teaching students who may not be enrolled at Lund University). So it is both a matter of principle and personal fulfillment that brings me here. I don't have too much time though, so I have to be a little selective in which students I accept.

I am a university lecturer with broad teaching and research experience. I offer tutoring in academic writing, English-language presentations, and the humanities and social sciences. My approach emphasizes clarity, argumentation, and structure. I help students develop strong analytical skills, improve coursework, and gain confidence in communicating complex ideas.
In my classes, I use a range of pedagogical techniques with a focus on active learning strategies to engage students into meaningful learning.
