Om James
I studied physics at the University of Leeds and completed my PGCE there as well. I taught at The Grammar School at Leeds before moving abroad to teach internationally at St Louis School Milano, then St Gilgen International School. After returning to the UK, I taught at Allerton High School before leaving classroom teaching to focus on tutoring whilst starting a business with my wife. I now tutor full-time.

Experienced IB Physics Teacher & AI-Enhanced Tutor
IB Physics teacher with 10 years' experience at top international schools including St Louis School Milano, St Gilgen International Salzburg, and The Grammar School At Leeds. Now teaching in Malmö and online.
Specialising in IB Physics tutoring - my primary focus and expertise. I also teach IGCSE Maths and support students with dyscalculia.
My lessons focus on problem-solving, identifying misconceptions, teaching exam techniques and strategies, and tackling common exam question types. I run a parallel curriculum to students' school studies, helping with concepts they didn't understand in class whilst preparing them for upcoming topics. This maximises learning from their school lessons.
What sets me apart: I use AI technology to enhance learning. Students receive searchable transcripts of every session, custom ChatGPTs trained on my teaching methods for 24/7 support, and data-driven progress tracking. At the end of each session, I provide detailed verbal assessments that are captured and analysed to inform future lessons.
Ten years of teaching experience distilled into accessible AI tools that help students avoid common exam mistakes and access consistent guidance between sessions.
