Om Sebastian
I'm a violinist and music educator from Colombia, passionate about teaching and sharing my love for music. While Bach is my favorite composer, I also love folk music and jazz.
I began my professional studies at the National University of Colombia and continued them at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Austria. In Colombia, I was a member of the FJC (Filarmónica joven de Colombia), performing in Colombia and Brazil under the baton of Andrés Orozco. This was a truly unforgettable experience in my career. Recently, I've performed with various ensembles, including Kunstamhof and the Werdenberg Festival.
I enjoy performing with large orchestras, as well as in solo or chamber ensembles. However, teaching is a crucial aspect of my career, and I'm eager to continue developing my skills as an educator."

I have years of experience teaching violin to students of all ages. My lessons cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Basic techniques (posture, bowing, shifting, vibrato)
- Reading music and theory
- Playing scales, arpeggios, and etudes
- Performing classical and contemporary repertoire
I believe in creating a fun and supportive learning environment where you can develop your skills and confidence. My teaching philosophy is based in the process of "Learning by Doing".
Beside I studied different teaching methods like Suzuki, Colourstring, Sheila Nelson and Paul Rolland. Therefore, I can provide to the student a wide and open learning process.
