Om Wilma
Originally I am from The Netherlands where I finished my Bachelor of Music and Master of Music at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Before I came to Stockholm, I was freelancing in professional orchestras, playing lots of chamber music and next to that I was teaching in The Netherlands.
Right now I am following my second Master degree at Kungliga Musikhögskolan and finished my ‘praktik’ weeks in the wonderful Opera with Hovkapellet and in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Now I am looking forward to meet new cello students here in Stockholm as well!

Love teaching cello the way you as a student want and the way suits you. All ages and levels are welcome!
I can be very methodic for building up technical skills and come up with every next step but we can also work more freely on the music. If the focus is to be wanted more on playing for fun and for example learning playing duets with me, that is all possible! Usually my lessons are a combination of both.
I myself started as a kid with the Suzuki cello school followed by Dotzauer, Popper, Feuillard until now Dvorak and Schumann cello concerto, and everything in between that. So, there is lots of methods and music we can dive into together!
