Private tutoring can be really important to students who need to either brush up their knowledge, understand deep concepts more, or even who needs to learn everything from scratch.
As a lecturer and a teacher, I have experienced that different students need different learning approaches. Some students need a visual learning approach, some need a writing approach whilst some need a hearing approach. Therefore, I have understood that the requirements of each student vary greatly and therefore we have to plan for each student individually.
I am using student-centered learning, and teacher-centered learning techniques depending on the requirement.
Usually, I break my lessons into 45 minutes and per day I will teach 2 hours maximum for one student. Otherwise, it will not be effective for the student.
I have teaching experience of more than 5 years. I am doing private tutoring since I'm an undergraduate. And after that, I have been teaching in a secondary school for 1 year and worked as a lecturer at a private university for another year.
I focus on teaching students from grade 9 to upwards. But I am
capable of reaching younger children as well depending on my availability.
