Currently doing my PhD in Sweden. Over the years I have taught and contributing to research across a number of fields: English, English Literature, Sociology, History, Sport Management, International Relations, EU Studies, EU law. Though disparate and varied, all roles allowed me to demonstrate my commitment to student development through education and lifelong learning while also utilising my ability for sustained high quality work.

I find teaching one of the most important activities humans could arguably engage in. Teaching understood as transfer of knowledge from teacher to students constitutes only a part of this. Equally important is the inter-subjective learning that takes place during the process of teaching, which essentially allows students as well as teachers to benefit in their own ways. I personally believe that clear and effective transfer of knowledge is the highest proof of expertise in any given field. As such, it should be seen as essential in any academic pursuit.
