Om Teresa
I was born and raised in Portugal, having recently moved to Sweden, to pursue my masters degree at Karolinska Institutet.
I love to travel and do sports, and have a great interest for literature and history.
In my classes, besides Portuguese culture and history, we can also discuss some of the interests we may have in common!

In my classes, I like to follow the student's lead and tailor it to the studnet's needs, ambitions and interests.
We can do everything from oral communication to grammar, and I will also prepare extra-class study materials to help the student achieve his/her goals.
In the first class, I usually assess the student's level, and ambitions in the subject, using this information to create a class roadmap for the duration of our classes.
Throughout the classes, I also like to introduce content regarding the Portuguese culture and history, as learning a language goes way beyond the language itself, and in order to understand the language, the student must understand the culture where it is inserted.
