Om Shivaani
I am currently a Master’s student in Information Technology at Halmstad University. I have a strong academic background in mathematics and science, and I am comfortable teaching algebra, physics, and chemistry to students in grades 9 and 10.
As a university student, I understand how important it is to have a tutor who explains difficult topics clearly and in a structured way. My goal is to help students understand the basic concepts clearly first, and then guide them through problem-solving step by step.
I am patient, responsible, and professional in my teaching. I prepare lessons according to the student’s school level, current difficulties, and learning goals. I also make sure that students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
I can help with homework, test preparation, revision, and improving confidence in algebra, physics, and chemistry. Students can expect lessons that are organised, clear, supportive, and focused on real progress.

I offer private lessons in algebra, physics, and chemistry for students in 9th and 10th grade who need extra support, want to improve their grades, or want to build a stronger understanding of the subjects.
I believe private lessons should be clear, patient, and adapted to each student’s level. Every student learns differently, so I first try to understand where the student is struggling and then explain the topic step by step in a simple way.
My teaching method focuses on building a strong foundation. In algebra, I help students understand formulas, equations, problem-solving methods, and how to apply them correctly. In physics and chemistry, I explain concepts using simple examples, diagrams, and real-life situations so students can understand the logic behind the topic rather than just memorise it.
During the lessons, I use practice questions, homework support, exam-style problems, revision exercises, and clear explanations. I also encourage students to ask questions freely, because I believe mistakes are an important part of learning.
Each lesson is usually 60 minutes, but the duration can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs.
