Om Irina
I would be happy to share with you my knowledge of and love for the Russian language. I find joy in making my students feel seen, understood and develop both academically and personally.
Learning/mastering languages (RU, EN, SE and IT) has been my hobby for many years, and along the way I have learned a lot about learning. I will use my pedagogical skills and knowledge in language acquisition to help you with learning Russian or becoming more fluent in it.
Qualifications: ~ PhD in Plant Biology (Sweden), ~ MSc in Teaching Biology (Russia), ~ Professional teaching experience (1 year, full-time), ~ Holding sessions for Russian learners at Språkstudion language cafe, SU (6 months, 1-2h per week).

My lessons are adapted not only to your language needs but also to your interests. I teach everyone from beginners to advanced users of Russsian.
By taking lessons with me:
* you will learn how to express yourself in Russian, both orally and in writing, in a more natural and accurate way,
* you will understand and be able to apply the grammar rules correctly,
* you will be able to take part in nuanced conversations on a large variety of topics.
I also offer training in developing specialised skills relating to
* Academic writing
* Legal writing
* Russian literature (reading, analysis, discussion)
I prefer teaching in person. Place: Uppsala.
