Om Nataliia
Hello! My name is Nataliia, and I am a professional flutist with over 18 years of experience in both performance and teaching. I completed my Master's degree in Flute at the Odessa National A. V. Nezhdanova Music Academy (Ukraine) and am currently continuing my studies there as a doctoral student. Throughout my career, I have performed on international stages, worked with orchestras and ensembles, and participated in numerous festivals and cultural projects in Ukraine, Italy, Hungary, and Sweden. I have been teaching flute since 2013, working with students of all levels — from beginners to advanced musicians preparing for exams, entrance to conservatories, or simply playing for personal enjoyment. My extensive teaching and performance experience allows me to approach each student individually, creating a comfortable and supportive environment for learning. My teaching method combines classical techniques with modern approaches, including extended techniques, which help students unlock the full potential of the instrument. We work not only on technique but also on musicality, interpretation, and ensemble playing. Each lesson is tailored to meet your goals and interests, whether you want to focus on classical repertoire, improvisation, or folk and pop covers on the flute. I aim to create a space where students can develop their musical skills in a positive and inspiring atmosphere. I would be happy to help you achieve your musical goals!

As a flute teacher, I use a method that combines classical technique with modern approaches. I pay special attention to each student's individual goals, and we build a lesson plan based on the selected pieces and styles. Whether you want to play pop/folk covers, jazz and improvisation, classical repertoire, or works for school ensembles, I will help you achieve your desired result. A typical lesson includes warm-up exercises, technical drills (scales, etudes), and repertoire suited to your interests. I also incorporate ear training, improvisation, and ensemble playing when appropriate, depending on the student's goals. We work not only on technique but also on musicality, exploring the emotional and expressive possibilities of each piece. What sets me apart as a teacher is my extensive experience as both a performer and educator. I draw on my international performance background and knowledge of contemporary and extended flute techniques to bring new perspectives to my teaching. I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students can develop their unique musical voice. My lessons are suitable for students of all levels — from beginners to more advanced, as well as those preparing for music school auditions. Whether you're learning for personal enjoyment or pursuing professional development, I will help you achieve your musical goals.
