Om Jinmin
I am a professional guzheng musician currently pursuing master’s level studies in Folk and World Music in Sweden. I have been playing the guzheng for over 16 years and have 7 years of teaching experience working with children and adults.
Music has always been an important part of my life, and I am passionate about sharing the beauty of traditional Chinese music with students from different cultural backgrounds. I believe learning music should be both structured and inspiring. My goal is not only to teach technique, but also to help students build confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of culture through music.

I offer personalized guzheng lessons for students aged 5 and above, from complete beginners to advanced players. My teaching combines traditional Chinese techniques with modern music education methods. Lessons include posture, finger technique, repertoire, and music theory, while also introducing students to Chinese musical culture and traditions.
Each lesson lasts 60 minutes. With over 16 years of performance experience and 7 years of teaching experience, I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging musical expression and confidence.
Lessons are available in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Basic Swedish is also possible.
