Om Gianmarco
I'm Italian. I trained at the La Scala Academy in Milan and then spent my career in companies across Europe — Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich, the Finnish National Ballet, Lyon Opera Ballet — before joining the Royal Swedish Ballet in 2019, where I now dance as a soloist.
I've been teaching alongside performing for several years, mostly adults, in Stockholm. It's become the part of my work I find most rewarding. Adults learn differently from children: they ask why, they want to understand what their body is doing, and they often arrive convinced they've left it too late. They haven't.

I trained at the La Scala Academy in Milan and have danced professionally with Bayerisches Staatsballett, Finnish National Ballet, Lyon Opera Ballet, and currently as a soloist with the Royal Swedish Ballet. Alongside my career on stage, I teach adult ballet in Stockholm.
Most of my students are adults who never danced as children, or who stopped and want to return. Every lesson is built around you — your body, your goals, and the specific things that feel difficult. We work on placement, turnout, balance, flexibility and coordination, and I explain why each exercise exists rather than just asking you to copy it.
I teach in English. Beginners are genuinely welcome, and you don't need any previous experience. Lessons take place in Stockholm or Nacka, at a studio or at your home.
