Om Tiina
My biggest passions in life are music and acting. I began learning the piano when I was a child and I started singing and writing songs next to it. My passion led me to study pop-jazz singing at the G. Ots Music College in Tallinn, Estonia, after which I worked as a professional singer/actor at the NUKU theatre in Estonia for 2 years. I still felt like I haven't followed my biggest dream which was studying jazz aborad and then I made the decision to move to Sweden and attend the Skurups folkhögskola. It was the coolest jazz school I had ever seen in my life, so I spent one year there and now I am happily on my 2nd year of bachelors degree at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. During my professional career at the theatre I also managed to hurt my voice for some periods, but I recovered my voice thanks to the help of my teachers in Stockholm. I am all about the healthy usage of voice.

Hej!
In my lessons I would first want to hear what do You want to work on and we can take it from there. If it's pop singing, then since I have 3 years of training within the Complete Vocal Technique, I'm happy to share you all my knowledge in that. I've also had some classical voice teachers in my life, so I know (and actually prefer) the old-school approach to a healthy voice, which is to first correct a singer's body posture, then breathing and tongue position. I will definitely give you excercises to work on your own that will strengthen your voice inbetween the lessons.
If you are interested in advanced things, then I can also teach how to sing through complex chords, improvise and how to write music yourself. Since I've performed live for over 10 years, both on TV and in theatres, I can also speak about how to fill each line of your text with emotion and life and how to get rid of stage fright.
Every age and level is very welcome, I'm thrilled to work with you!
