Om SoYoung

I’m a Korean language teacher based in Gothenburg, holding a bachelor’s degree in Korean Language and a Korean language teaching certificate. I’m originally from Daegu, South Korea, and if you like, I can even teach you a bit of the Daegu dialect for fun!

My lessons are always conducted in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, helping students feel comfortable and confident participating. I have experience teaching students of various ages and levels, including lessons in schools and official education institutions. Lessons are designed around real-life conversations and practical expressions, so you can use what you learn immediately.

Enjoy Korean Lessons Over Fika!

Learn Korean in a relaxed setting, online or in-person, with lessons lasting at least one hour. I’m a native Korean speaker, a certified Korean language teacher, and hold a bachelor’s degree in Korean. Lessons are taught entirely in English, making them easy to follow and enjoyable for learners of all ages and levels.

Each lesson focuses on useful expressions or grammar points, which we then practice through fun and interactive conversations. I usually hold lessons at a café while enjoying fika with my students, and we also talk about Korean culture, K-dramas, K-pop, and Korean food, helping you learn Korean naturally.

Lessons are tailored to your goals and interests, making learning Korean practical, engaging, and fun.
