Om Morteza
I'm a Tech Lead at H&M, where I lead a team building across the full stack, React, Next.js, and a custom design system on the frontend, Java and Spring Boot on the backend, all deployed through Docker and Kubernetes. Alongside that, I have solid hands-on experience building mobile apps with React Native.
I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy mentoring, and honestly, I miss the act of teaching and explaining things. There's something I find really satisfying about watching a concept click for someone, or seeing them go from stuck to shipping something that actually works.
I'm not a career educator with a teaching degree, and I won't pretend to be, what I bring is real, current experience leading a team and building production software every day, plus a growing focus on how to actually work with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Antigravity, as an engineer, not just a code generator.
If you want someone who can explain things clearly, meet you at your level, and teach from what's actually happening in the industry right now, including how AI is changing how we build software, I'd love to help.

My lessons are hands-on and built around what you're trying to get to, not a fixed curriculum I run through regardless of who's in front of me. Before we start, I usually spend the first part of a lesson understanding your current level, what you already know, and what you actually want to achieve, so every session after that is aimed at closing that gap.
A typical lesson is practical: we write real code together, not just watch slides or theory. If you're learning React or Next.js, we'll build actual components and features. If you're working on mobile, we'll build something in React Native you can run on your own phone. If we're covering backend, we'll work with real APIs using Java and Spring Boot. And where it fits, I'll show you how to bring AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Antigravity into that same workflow. How to prompt them well, review what they give you, and use them to actually speed up your thinking instead of replacing it.
I try to explain the "why" behind things, not just the "how", so you leave each lesson able to solve the next problem on your own, not just able to repeat what we did.
What makes my approach different is that I'm not teaching from a course I memorized years ago. I lead a real engineering team at H&M today, so what you're learning is current, the same tools, patterns, and problems I deal with day to day, including how professional teams are actually using AI right now.
Lessons run 1–2 hours and work for any level, whether you're starting from zero, already coding and want to go deeper, or an experienced developer who wants to sharpen how you use AI as part of your workflow.

All you need is your own laptop. If you want to focus on AI-assisted development, having accounts set up for tools like Claude Code or Cursor helps, but I'll guide you through getting that set up if you're new to it. No prior AI tool experience required.
I offer a free 45-minute first lesson so we can get to know each other, talk through your goals and current level, and make sure I'm the right fit for what you're trying to learn before you commit to anything.
