Om Fyona
Hello! I'm Fyona, a 24 years old native French speaker currently based in Scandinavia.
My journey has taken me from France to Trondheim, Norway, where I embraced the opportunity to be an Erasmus student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. During this year, I followed courses in my Economics and Management programme and enrolled in Norwegian language classes. Looking back, I am grateful for the courage I had to pursue this dream, as it allowed me to apply for jobs and successfully navigate interviews, ultimately leading to a year as a Substitute in Kindergarten.
Currently, I am a full-time Master's student at the Swedish School of Textiles, specialising in Fashion Marketing and Management. As a future fashion buyer, I am passionate about exploring both the business and creative sides of the fashion industry.
I believe that language learning should be an enjoyable journey, and I am excited to share my knowledge with you. Together, we can explore the beauty of the French language and culture while building your confidence in speaking and understanding French.

As a certified student tutor, I completed the "Être tuteur-tutrice" programme during my second year of Bachelor's degree at the Université de Pau et des pays de l'Adour. It required me to work in pairs, complete 10 hours of tutoring, and submit a reflective report on my experience. For about 2 months, I co-hosted weekly 90-minute Zoom sessions for three students, providing personalised support and addressing their questions while explaining methodologies.
Additionally, I helped a 17-year-old prepare for the Baccalauréat. As we met twice a week, we planned and organised the sessions on the various subjects to pass the examinations.
My approach emphasises supportive, interactive learning to help students gain confidence and proficiency in French.
