Om Claire
Hi! I’m from China and I'm a native speaker of both Mandarin and Cantonese.
As a multilingual language learner myself, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language. My experience with different languages has also helped me develop strong cross-cultural communication skills.
I can use my knowledge of English and French to help students understand the differences in pronunciation between languages, making it easier to recognize and produce Chinese sounds.
I’m passionate about languages and enjoy helping people learn Chinese in a relaxed and practical way. II have experience teaching Cantonese and can help you with everyday conversation, pronunciation and speaking practice.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, learning Chinese for travel, work or personal interest, or simply want to practice speaking with a native speaker, I’d be happy to help!
Lessons can be tailored to your level, interests and learning goals. I offer both online and in-person lessons. I'm always patient and I'd love to help you enjoy learning Chinese!

My Chinese lessons are open to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners.
Each lesson lasts 45-60 minutes.
I focus not only on the pronunciation, vocabulary and sentences, but also on understanding the culture behind it. You will learn Chinese while discovering Chinese culture, which will help to better understand the language.
I also use situational learning to make lessons practical and engaging. We can practice Chinese through real-life situations, so you can learn Chinese naturally and enjoyably.
During the free time between our classes, you can send me messages if you have any question during about Chinese learning.
