Om Lakni
I was born and raised in Italy where I graduated in Psychology (BSc), afterwards I spent six years in London where I worked and gained my MSc in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience. I recently moved to Sweden and going to start my PhD in January.
In the meantime to keep practising I want to engage with students that are eager to learn a new language!
Whatever is the reason you are currently looking at this profile, from going on Erasmus in Florence next year or perhaps being able to order amazing food on your next holiday in Rome, I am flexible and open to meeting and discussing your goals and which level you expect to achieve by the end of it!

Depending on which level you want to achieve (Academic/Conversational) It can take from just a couple of months for the very basic to years of practice. However lessons are just half of the work, the grit to keep going is in your hands! My lessons are usually focused on:
- Grammar
- Lexicon
- Comprehension (Listening and Speaking)
I dedicate 45 minutes to grammar and depending on which level of writing and speaking you want to achieve the rest of the lesson is mainly on reading texts, comprehension and listening to different dialogues from native speakers.
The material I use can vary, depending on the level the pupil is starting and their age. However, I rely on Zanichelli and Mondadori websites.
Additionally, I create a GoogleDrive link to share with each student, within which they can see and download their work for every lesson so the pupil can store and revise their work.
