Om Franco
Before settling in Sweden, I lived in three other countries: Italy, Spain and the United States. This allowed me to get to know different cultures and to appreciate the positive aspects of each one of them. I am a meticulous teacher: I like to plan my lessons down to the smallest detail, so that there are no breaks or moments of inactivity during the lesson. I usually prepare my teaching materials myself because I find textbooks to be somehow straitjackets. I try to leave as much space as possible for my students, to maximize their language practice opportunities, and to limit teacher talk.

My lessons are planned in detail to meet the individual needs of my students. The design of the course begins after a meeting in which the student clarifies what their goals are. In all the teaching activities that I propose, the student always has the active role of a researcher: I firmly believe that this is the most effective path towards the acquisition of a new language.
