Authentic Swedish in practice for real-life communication: speaking, language and culture embodiment, creating your native Swedish environment. Academic and Acting techniques for absorbing language!

Translation: Celeste has exceptional skills in not just translation and interpreting, but also transcreation: she can adapt her Italian meticulously to reflect Italian culture authentically, whilst also preserving the essence of an original text. For my book, she captured the language requirements for a small aged audience, 4-10 year-old children whilst also reflecting her own native and academic standard of the Italian language. She understands language holistically and thus adapts structure, diction, punctuation and flow to make a text come to life in her translations and simultaneously respects the demands and goals of original texts. This allows me, not only to trust in her translations, but also to trust in her passion and understanding of the essence of language and the value behind it. Celeste is also very well-spoken and eloquent and has skills in English and Swedish, as well as in sectors outside of creative writing too, such as medical, legal and economics.

Tutoring: Celeste has extensive experience in tutoring in English and Italian. Thanks to her creative and bubbly personality, she keeps her students engaged, students love working with her and they trust in her instincts and methods. Celeste is extremely good at communication, making concepts very clear and simple and she is always happy to re-explain things until students have clarity. When living in China, she tutored Chinese children in English, both privately and in class settings; parents were always very satisfied with the children's improvement, even after just a few weeks.
