Om Mahsa
Hi, I’m Mahsa! I am a dedicated teacher, researcher, and language enthusiast with over 17 years of experience teaching across universities, language institutes, and private settings. I hold a Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), a Master’s in Educational Research from the University of Gothenburg, and a Cambridge CELTA certification.
For the past two years, I have been living, studying, and and teaching (for ABF) in Sweden, where my commitment to high-quality education was recently recognized in a formal study highlighting the strong quality and impact of my teaching.
I understand firsthand what it takes to master a new language and adapt to a new culture. To me, teaching is about far more than just teaching grammar rules. I choose to teach because I love creating warm, supportive, and communicative spaces where students feel heard, safe, and motivated to speak boldly. There is nothing more rewarding to me than using my experience and empathy to help you transform hesitation into true confidence and fluency!

With over 17 years of experience teaching across different settings, I design my private lessons to be engaging, practical, and tailored entirely to your unique goals.
Rather than focusing on boring grammar drills, my teaching methodology centers on communicative, task-based learning. I use real-life topics and visual tools to help you move from hesitation to confidence, creating a safe space where you can focus on flow and progress rather than perfection.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long (flexible depending on your needs) and are completely customized to fit your pace. Whether you are preparing for the IELTS exam, refining your academic writing, starting a new job, or simply wanting to feel more at ease speaking English, these lessons are open to learners of all ages and proficiency levels.
