Om Kuchi V S
I am a retired university researcher and lecturer, mostly in computer science or linguistics, and was in those roles for 35+ years. Most of my writing has been research articles in computer science or linguistics, but I have very wide interests and am passionate about languages, films, music and history.
I have lived in Sweden, the UK, and India. English is my first language, though I am fluent in Swedish and several Indian languages, and can get by in French and German.
To acquire any skill or knowledge takes dedication and serious study; I offer these unstintingly, and expect the same from any student.

Whatever your background and level in the mathematical or formal sciences, we can discover what you need to get to where you want to be. Then we can plan your study, ensuring that the plan allows for unexpected twists and gaps. We will choose together the length and frequency of lessons, as well as the material to be followed. The lessons will be mostly active enquiry and problem solving, rather than passive absorption of a textbook. A typical lesson will be about an hour long, with four lessons per week.
I am a researcher with a PhD and 35+ years of experience at Chalmers university, Gothenburg. I have supervised many doctoral, master's and bachelor's theses, so I have taught individual students and small groups as well as lectured to large classes. I would be happy to work with students of any age, though the ideas here envisage those in high school or older.
