Om David
Hi! I'm David Dealonso – a music teacher, songwriter, and composer passionate about helping others discover the joy of making music.
I hold a Teaching Degree in Music and a Master’s in Creative Music Production from Novia University. I currently teach art and music at an English school in Stockholm, where I also lead creative musical projects with my students, including multilingual performances and video productions.
Since 2018, I've developed my solo project David Dealonso, where I sing and play acoustic guitar, blending Galician, Spanish, and English in original songs inspired by personal stories and emotions. This project earned second prize in the Xuventude Crea contest in 2018.
In 2019, I composed and recorded music for poems awarded in the Lingua de Namorar competition, culminating in a live performance at the official awards ceremony in Padrón, Spain.
Beyond teaching, I perform regularly in Stockholm and sing in the Kultur på Spanska choir led by Gabriel Lezcano.
Another one of my initiatives is Mr. Alonso, a fun and educational music project for children, with original songs in English designed to support language learning through music.
