Om Sahil
I am an ambitious and responsible person with a strong academic background from the IB program at Stockholm International School, where I studied Higher Level in Physics, English (language and literature) and Economics. My education has given me analytical skills, good study techniques and the habit of handling high workloads in a structured and efficient manner.
Since 2018, I have worked as a private tutor in mathematics and English, where I have helped students break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable parts. Through clear explanations and structured problem solving, I have supported students in developing both their understanding and their self-confidence. I place great importance on collaboration and adapt the teaching to each student's individual needs and goals.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have developed strong leadership and communication skills through several responsible roles. I have worked as a Social Media Manager where I have led teams, coordinated designers and been responsible for delivering content at a high pace. Within the flying club Östra Sörmlands Flygklubb, I have held theory lessons and presented flight theory in an educational and structured way. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex information in a clear and engaging way.
I have also held leading roles within Model United Nations and the school's economics club, where I organized events, gave presentations and collaborated with students from different backgrounds. My efforts have been recognized through, among other things, the Best Delegate Award, the Head Chair Award and the Honor Roll for high academic achievements.
As a person, I am solution-oriented, communicative and used to working in both independent and team-based contexts. I speak English, Swedish, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu, which allows me to communicate effectively with students from different backgrounds.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve better results, but to give them the tools, structure and self-confidence to succeed in their studies in the long term.

I will be first trying to understand the students level at the topic or the type of task they are doing. If they require step by step help i will provide that but if they are capable to jump to the challenging things will do that too.
I will assign the student assignments altered to the criteria of the subject to make sure the student gets easy marks and their work stands out from the others.
I will be presenting slides to the students with tips and tricks from the students in the past year who did well and what the IB really is looking for in the students.
IB English language and literature can be difficult however with my last minute tips and hacks on how to do well the students will be thriving in their exam as i did to :).
Not to mention i got all the past papers for all years!
