Om Kylie
My passion for teaching was passed down to me from my mother, who has been a teacher for the last 30 years. Growing up, I saw the relationships she built with her students and the impact that she has made, especially as I am teaching her former elementary students in high school. As a teacher, it is my goal to help learners develop a love for learning and instill an understanding of the importance of learning.

I recognize that each learner has a unique set of strengths and weaknesses that influence their learning styles and abilities. Each private session will be designed based on the learner's personality, preferences, learning style, and goal. Together, we will establish a plan to ensure that our work together optimizes your learning.
Because I am a high school math teacher, I have a good working knowledge of geometry and algebra. However, I have experience tutoring and teaching math, English, and various physical science topics from the elementary level through high school and would be willing to work with learners ages 5-18.
Lessons will look different for each learner and could consist of homework help, mini-lessons, practice problems, real life application, listening and speaking exercises, etc., with the average lesson lasting 30 minutes. Longer lessons are an option, depending on the age, needs, and ability of the learner. I am excited to help all learners expand their ability level and love for learning!
