Hi! I am a creative and fun-loving person who is deeply passionate about science, art, history, and the endless joy of learning. Growing up in a town in India, I relied heavily on YouTube and online videos to fuel my curiosity—a self-driven educational journey that eventually led me all the way to Sweden.
I dedicate my success to the amazing teachers I’ve had along the way. I will never forget my math teacher, who never gave up on me and always believed in my potential. With 2 years of experience as an Instructional Designer for K-12 students and a Master’s thesis in Technology-Enhanced Learning, I bring extensive expertise in modern, digital-age pedagogy. My goal is to help you critically engage with your learning material. I believe in meeting every student exactly where they are—there are no silly questions, and revisiting the basics to build a rock-solid foundation is always encouraged.
What a Standard 60-Minute Lesson Looks Like
My lessons are highly structured to maximize focus and retention:
The First 15 Minutes (Warm-up & Goals): We set the day's learning goals, follow up on the previous lesson, and assess what you already know. I use this time to introduce relatable examples that spark curiosity and encourage a mindset ready for learning.
The Next 30 Minutes (Active Engagement): We break the core topic down into achievable milestones. We work through the concepts together with active dialogue. My approach focuses on deep understanding rather than memorization, acting as a guide to help you discover the answers yourself.
The Final 15 Minutes (Practical Application): We dedicate this time to a quiz or practical implementation of the concept. For example, if we are learning trigonometry, we might figure out the shortest path to a specific destination. If you struggle to solve it, that is a good thing! Wrong answers highlight misconceptions, giving us the perfect opportunity to correct them on the spot.
My Teaching Methodology
Question-Based Learning: I use reflective questions to improve your metacognition. This helps you process your own understanding and connect with the material on a relatable level.
Turning Mistakes into Strengths: A wrong answer is just a stepping stone to a strong lesson. Through active dialogue, we use mistakes as a powerful tool to strengthen your basics.
Visuals & Everyday Examples: I regularly use visual aids and real-world scenarios to make difficult or abstract concepts easy to understand.
Lesson Length Flexibility
While a standard lesson is 60 minutes, I am flexible depending on the student's needs:
45 minutes for younger students who benefit from shorter, focused sessions.
90 minutes for deep dives or intensive exam preparation.
