Hello, I’m Adam! Originally from Ireland, I have over two years of experience teaching English in Spain and Vietnam. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship at Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden, with the goal of opening my own English school in the future.

My Teaching Approach & Techniques
I believe in tailoring each lesson to the individual needs and learning style of my students. Over the years, I’ve developed a diverse range of methods to keep my lessons engaging and effective. For younger students, I incorporate fun games and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and memorable. For older students or more advanced learners, I focus on structured conversation, real-world applications, and exam prep, depending on their goals.
In addition to conversation practice, I use workshops to develop specific skills, such as writing, pronunciation, and grammar. I’m a strong believer in the communicative method, where speaking and listening are central, but I also emphasize a solid understanding of grammar to build confidence and clarity in all aspects of language learning.
Lesson Duration
Typically, my private lessons last between 60-90 minutes, depending on the student's preference and availability. I find this time frame works best for maintaining focus and ensuring that we cover material thoroughly without overwhelming the student.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a TEFL degree and have two years of experience teaching English in schools across Vietnam and Spain. I’ve worked with students from ages 4 to 90, helping them improve their English for different purposes: from casual conversation to exam preparation (IELTS, business English, etc.). I’ve taught a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced, and I adapt my approach to each student's needs.

My lessons are designed for students of all ages, from young children learning basic English to adults working on their professional language skills. Whether you’re preparing for an IELTS exam, improving your pronunciation, or practicing conversational English, I provide lessons that meet you where you are in your language journey. I’m also passionate about helping people develop the language skills they need for their careers, whether that’s through business English or professional communication skills.
