Om Zoë
I am a dedicated individual who wants to help others succeed. Having had a tutor for French when I was in school, I know how useful tutoring can be and I remember the confidence it gave me. I want to be able to provide children with that same confidence, to give them the tools they need to achieve their full potential. Having worked with lots of children, I realise how different children are and how ineffective a one-size-fits-all approach is. This is why I take time to get to know how each individual child works best, what techniques they respond to and how I tailor my lessons accordingly.

I use a personalised approach to teaching, where I first gauge what method of teaching is most effective for the child. I then tailor my teaching technique based on that, e.g. if they work better when concepts are described visually, written (if so, in what type of style?) or more interactively.
Lessons are typically one hour but this can be adjusted based on what suits the child best.
I have experience tutoring both primary and secondary school children. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I can teach any subject in children up to 13 years. With children over 13 years old, I mostly focus on science, English or mathematics.
I have top school grades and three degrees (BSc and two MSc) to support this teaching.
