Om Albin
My name is Albin, I am 32 years old and started to learn to play the piano by myself at the age of 19.
At the age of 22 I started to study classical music-composition at Oskarshamns Folkhögskola but after one year of studies I chose to study jazzpiano instead; which I ended up doing for 3 years all together. One year at Oskarshamns folkhögskola and two years at St:Sigfrid folkhögskola.
After 4 years of music-studies I applied to the Musicteacher-program (with jazz as my main genre) at Musikhögskolan i Malmö where i recently graduated after 5 more years of study.
I specialise within jazz but can also teach in classical music and "band-genres" like rock/pop. I also have a great interest in music from games and movies and love to make that part of my teaching-repertoar.

The lessons will primarily be based on what the student is interested in learning and what feels relevant for them. If the student doesn't know what they should be practicing I as a teacher will help them by giving material to work on based on what I believe could help the student improve their piano-playing. The most important is that we through communication shape the lessons to be something the student finds relevant and fun.
My lessons are primarily fitted for beginners and intermediate piano-players and works for all ages. The lesson can either be 45 or 60 minutes long based on the students preferences.
My primarily language is Swedish but I can also teach in English.
