Om Illia
Hi, I’m Illia. I’ve played piano for over 10 years and studied for 8 years at School No. 15 in Odesa, Ukraine. I started teaching in 2025 and enjoy helping beginners build confidence and make steady progress.
Alongside teaching, I’ve been making beats for over 3 years. I’ve worked with Billboard-charting artists, SM Entertainment and Soundgraphics, and I’m a member of the RoastingHouse music label in Malmö. I can also help you explore songwriting and music production with FL Studio.

• I see private lessons as a way to make music personal and inspiring. I don’t follow traditional textbooks — instead, I focus on what the student truly wants and needs.
• Technique & Method:
I adapt my method to each student. We focus on songs or styles the student loves, while also developing ear training, note reading, and basic music theory in a practical and simple way.
• Lesson duration:
Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and focus.
• Qualifications & Experience:
I studied piano for 8 years at a music school in Odesa, Ukraine. I’ve been playing for over 10 years and started teaching in April 2025.
• Who my lessons are for:
My lessons are for beginners of all ages — kids, teens, or adults. I teach in English and I travel to the student’s home in Malmö.
If you want relaxed and useful lessons that actually match your goals — I’m here for you!

Perfekt! I have had some lessons with Ilia by now and I ahve seen the improvement. He is always prepared, calm, ready to explain concepts and adapts his teaching to your needs. One thing I have understood is the importance of practicing at home and developing skills, asking questions, being curious in learning, something I feel Ilia has sparked in my journey of piano playing!

Decided to get back into piano just for myself and super glad I found Illia. He’s really patient and doesn’t treat me like a kid which is nice. Finally enjoying playing without all the pressure I remember from music school
Illia is a really good teacher! My son learnt so much in a short time. I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn the piano!
Very pleased with the lessons our daughter took with Illia. He is very clever, reliable and polite person. Good at explaining things. Highly recommend him as a music teacher.
Illia är artig, trevlig och en väldigt bra pianolärare. Vi är mycket nöjda!
