Om Linnéa
My name is Linnéa, I’m 27 years old and a native Swedish speaker — and I’m truly excited at the thought of joining you on your Swedish language journey.
Teaching Swedish is more than just a job for me — it’s a heartfelt passion. I genuinely love meeting new people from different backgrounds, and being part of your personal and academic growth is something I find deeply meaningful. There’s something very special about seeing someone build confidence and fluency, step by step, and knowing I had the privilege to be part of that journey.
As someone who has studied languages myself — both English and Chinese — I truly understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language, especially when you’re far from the country where it’s spoken. I’ve felt the same longing to connect with native speakers, and I know how much of a difference it makes when someone is patient, encouraging, and genuinely wants to help. That’s exactly the kind of teacher I aim to be — the person I once wished I had.
With a background in linguistics, business economics, and pedagogy, as well as experience as a substitute teacher and gymnastics coach, I bring not only academic knowledge but also practical teaching experience and a love for helping others learn in a way that suits them.
It would be an honor to support you, whether you’re starting from scratch, preparing for an exam, or polishing an academic thesis. I look forward to meeting you, listening to your goals, and creating a learning experience that truly works for you.

About My Classes – Learn Swedish with Linnéa
Learn Swedish that actually will be useful for daily life, work and academics. It should be fun and interactive, everything individually designed for your goals and needs.
I offer personalized Swedish lessons for non-native speakers at all levels, as well as support with thesis writing in Swedish.
️Swedish for Non-Native Speakers
I teach Swedish from beginner to advanced level and tailor each lesson according to your individual goals and needs. Whether you want to improve your speaking, writing, grammar, or prepare for a specific exam, we will begin by discussing your learning objectives and focus areas — be it conversational Swedish, business communication, academic language, or grammar fundamentals.
Lessons are conducted in both English and Swedish (Mandarin can also be used on request for increased understanding), depending on your preference and comfort level. My aim is to create a supportive, effective, and engaging learning environment that helps you reach your language goals.
For beginners, we will start with fundamental phrases, the alphabeh and grammar structures.
I suggest a thematical approach to the classes, where words and grammar structures will be introduced gradually by focusing on specific topics each class according to your interests.
If you are attending Swedish language school or classes, I can also assist by explaining and correcting assignments.
Thesis Writing Support
I also provide assistance with thesis writing in Swedish, for both native and non-native speakers. I hold two bachelor’s degrees — one in Linguistics with a focus on Chinese, and another in Business Economics — and I received top grades for both of my theses. I offer guidance on how to improve structure, academic language, and content, while also taking specific course requirements into account. I’m happy to review your thesis drafts and offer constructive feedback for improvement.
