Om Teo
Hi! I'm Teo, a recent IB graduate (44/45) from United World College Red Cross Nordic. Whether it's politics, physics, or maths, I love approaching problems with curiosity and creating something to be proud of. I'm currently on my way to study Politics and National Economy at Lund University in Sweden.
As a graduate, I understand the complexity of balancing IB with social life, daily activities, and rest. For me, that means building routines that allow time for hikes, friends, guitar playing, and the gym, while still achieving 7s. I believe habits and motivation matter as much as studying — the IB is a marathon, not a sprint. I wish someone had given me the tips and tricks when I was a student, but now I get to give them to you.

I apply a hands-on approach to learning, believing that learning is best through applying theory practically. Although flexible to student needs, I routinely initiate topics with concept explanations. Maintaining a personal connection, I work with creative memory techniques, linking personal anecdotes of the student to subject concepts, making the learning process both more efficient and enjoyable. I always ground theory in practice, working with the exact resources and formats in which the student will be asked to perform on a test. I also believe there is great value in not only learning what to write but how to write, and thus, I often emphasise test structure and strategy.
