I'm a university student with a genuine love for music and teaching. Alongside my studies, I've spent several years teaching beginner piano to children, and it's something I care about doing well, not just playing the notes, but helping each child build confidence, patience, and a real enjoyment of music.Parents can expect someone reliable, prepared, and easy to communicate with. I plan each lesson around the individual child, track their progress, and keep things structured but relaxed. I'm used to working with young learners and know how to keep them engaged and encouraged, even on the days when practice feels like hard work.Above all, I want every student to finish a lesson feeling a little more capable than when they started. Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the very first time or building on what they already know, I'll meet them at their level and help them grow at their own pace.

I believe learning piano should feel encouraging and fun, especially at the beginning. My approach is patient and relaxed. I meet each student where they are and build from there, so they feel confident rather than pressured.
I focus on the basics first: reading notes, hand position, rhythm, and simple songs the student actually enjoys playing. I find children stay motivated when they get to play music they recognise early on, so I balance proper technique with pieces that are fun. As a student progresses, we gradually add theory, sight-reading, and more challenging pieces at a pace that suits them.
To make starting out easier, I provide free sheet music and practice notes for my students, so parents don't need to worry about buying materials to begin.
Lessons are typically 45 minutes to an hour, and I'm flexible depending on the student's age and attention span; for younger children, shorter and more frequent can work better.
I've taught beginner piano to children for several years, developing lesson plans and tracking each student's progress individually. I enjoy the teaching side as much as the music, and I've learned how to explain things simply and adjust to how each child learns best.
My lessons are aimed at children and beginners of any age who want a friendly, no-pressure introduction to piano and a solid foundation to grow from.
