Om Steve Sunny
My name is Steve. I am a Swedish Institute scholarship holder completing a Master's in Strategic Communication at Lund University, and the founder of an AI startup working on language practice and workplace training. I combine academic training in communication with real day-to-day experience of pitching, positioning and explaining ideas to demanding audiences.
I treat teaching professionally: I prepare for every session, track your progress, and give honest, constructive feedback. My students can expect punctuality, structure, patience and a judgement-free environment, whether they are complete beginners or advanced learners refining their skills.

I see private lessons as a space to speak freely and make mistakes without pressure, which is where real language progress happens. My lessons are conversation-led: you speak for most of the session while I guide, correct and expand your vocabulary in context rather than through memorised lists.
My method adapts to your goal. For speaking confidence, we hold structured conversations on topics you choose, with gentle correction and notes you keep afterwards. For pronunciation, we work on specific sounds, stress and intonation through repetition and recording. For business or academic English, we work on your real emails, reports, presentations and applications, focusing on tone and clarity.
Lessons are normally 60 minutes, and 30-minute sessions are available for regular short speaking practice, which many learners find easier to sustain weekly. I always send a short summary of new vocabulary and corrections after each lesson.
My background: I am a fluent Native English speaker completing a Master's degree in Strategic Communication at Lund University, where I study and write academically in English daily. My professional work in communication and product development means I can help specifically with professional, workplace and presentation English.
My lessons are for teenagers and adults at any level, from beginners who need patience and encouragement to advanced speakers polishing fluency for work, studies or interviews. Lessons take place online with flexible evening and weekend availability.
