Om Madushika

Experienced secondary teacher graduated in English and
Literature BA with 12 years of teaching experience in a state
school. Currently following a Master’s Programme in English
and Literature at Linnaeus University. A dedicated and
friendly teacher with highly developed knowledge on
theoretical and pedagogical aspects of teaching English as a second language. A person who targets strong and positive relationships with students and parents by creating a soothing as well as an active learning environment for her students with social skills and empathy.

Om lektionen

I have been teaching English as a second language for 12 years. And English Literature for 10 years and have a clear understanding about obstacles faced by students when learning English. Therefore I try to make the lesson as interesting as possible using stories,minor games, picture descriptions etc. I mainly use short drama scripts for practicing speaking skill which makes children confident in presenting their ideas fluently and meaningfully. Usually my lessons last for 1 1/2 hours time which will depend upon the student's level and mental and physical condition. I usually teach English and Literature for secondary classes.
