Om Mia Marie
I am currently a mathematics student at Lund University. Before moving to Sweden, I lived in Dubai, where I took the IB diploma and managed to graduate as my school's Valedictorian. I am passionate about effective study strategies, so you need to spend less time studying to achieve greater results. I have four years of tutoring experience, teaching maths to students aged 8-18.

I believe in learning through examples and share countless exercises and concise notes with all my students. I also prioritise organisation, and provide spreadsheets, trackers, and checklists to all my students so they know exactly where they're at. My lessons are for anyone feeling lost or anxious about IB maths, whether at SL or HL. Mathematics does not need to be scary, and my students and I work on not mastering the content, but also dealing with test anxiety and time management issues. I also assist in IA work. I split my tutoring sessions into 45-minute blocks, and assign weekly exercises.
