Om Illia
• My name is Illia Chystiakov, I’m 18 years old and I’ve been playing piano for over 10 years . I graduated from a music school in Odesa, Ukraine with excellent grades .
• In addition to teaching, I’ve been making beats for over 3 years. I’ve worked with Billboard-charting artists and I’m a member of the RoastingHouse music label based in Malmö . As a producer, I can also show you how to write your own music, improvise, and use modern tools like FL Studio.
• Teaching piano is my way to share the joy of music and help others grow. My lessons are relaxed, focused, and built around each student's personal goals

• I see private lessons as a way to make music personal and inspiring. I don’t follow traditional textbooks — instead, I focus on what the student truly wants and needs.
• Technique & Method:
I adapt my method to each student. We focus on songs or styles the student loves, while also developing ear training, note reading, and basic music theory in a practical and simple way.
• Lesson duration:
Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and focus.
• Qualifications & Experience:
I studied piano for 8 years at a music school in Odesa, Ukraine. I’ve been playing for over 10 years and started teaching in April 2025.
• Who my lessons are for:
My lessons are for beginners of all ages — kids, teens, or adults. I teach in English and I travel to the student’s home in Malmö.
