Om Bubu
Hi, I’m Kristina! I recently graduated from the IB, achieving 7s in Maths AA HL, Chemistry HL, and Biology HL, and I’ve loved exploring these subjects both in school and through competitions — including winning the national Economics Olympiad and representing Slovakia internationally, along with top results in Chemistry and Biology Olympiads.
Tutoring has always been a big part of my journey. I’ve supported classmates and younger students, taught chemistry lessons at a private school, and co-organised a chemistry club. I invited one of Slovakia’s leading scientists, Dr. Čekan, to speak at our school. I also completed a summer internship and three summer schools, which gave me valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of my subjects.
These experiences taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and make learning enjoyable. I bring all of this to my lessons, helping students gain confidence and achieve their goals.

I see private lessons as a chance to make learning clear, engaging, and tailored to you. I use a mix of explanations, practice problems, and study strategies, drawing on my own experience as an IB student and competition participant to help you avoid common pitfalls and learn efficiently. Lessons usually last around 60 minutes, and I tutor Maths AA HL, Chemistry HL, Biology HL, Economics HL, as well as general IB support like IAs and EEs. My lessons are aimed at high school and IB students who want to understand concepts deeply, feel confident, and achieve their best results.
