I’m Akil Arasan Vinayagam, a calm and supportive math tutor with a strong academic background in mathematical physics and quantum technology. I enjoy helping students discover that math can be logical, manageable, and even fun when approached step by step.

I see private lessons as a space where students can learn at their own pace and feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to make math less stressful and more understandable by connecting abstract ideas to clear, concrete explanations.
Teaching methods:
I focus on step‑by‑step reasoning, plenty of real‑world examples, and adapting the lesson to how each student learns best. I use both traditional problem‑solving and short conceptual discussions to build true understanding, not just memorization.
Lesson length:
Most sessions last 60–90 minutes, depending on your goals and concentration level. I’m flexible — we can adjust the length or pace as needed.
Qualifications and experience:
I hold a B.Sc. in Mathematical Physics from Trent University, Canada, and am currently completing a Master’s degree in Quantum Technology at Uppsala University. I’ve spent 4+ years teaching and tutoring undergraduate university students in Math, Physics and Computer Science, helping them improve confidence and problem‑solving skills.

I tutor high school and undergraduate university students who want to strengthen their math foundation — whether it’s to prepare for exams, catch up on challenging topics, or deepen their understanding.
